Keara Zengel

Hi all! I am currently a sophomore at UCSB, double majoring in Dance as well as Psychology & Brain Science. I am intrigued by the innate brain-body relationship and how it can be extremely useful for dancers to learn how to harness the energy from this sense of embodiment and inner connection. Creating choreography and combining it with illusory qualities like camera angles and film editing has been an amazing growing opportunity for me as an interdisciplinary artist. I have also enjoyed pondering over questions like, how does this video stimulate my audience’s brain differently than if they were viewing the same choreography in person, on a stage? I hope to do more work like this in the future, so please enjoy my first few videos!
